You can create your own homepage on JCN server.
The URL of the homepage is afollows:
- http://www1.r1.rosenet.jp/{your URL name}/
You can create it at "User Menu Page(SelfPage)." |

It is not possible to use a program that directly
runs on the server, such as a
bulletin board with your CGI, other than the access counter provided
by ROSENET. |

Posting what is offensive to a public order and morals is
prohibited. |

Since ROSENET do not backup the data uploaded to the homepage
servers, users are responsible for maintaining the data. Even
if the data should be lost, for example, due to the failure
of the server, restoration of the data must be done by users. |

Please note that customer support for creating a homepage
is not available. |

You can not transfer files from outside ROSENET. |

To Register a Homepage |
| 1. |

Create a homepage with a tool such as a homepage editor.
File names must be half-width alphanumeric characters. |

Once creating the home page is finished, you can register it by transferring
the contents of it to the ROSENET server. For this purpose file transfer
capabilities of the homepage editor are convenient. |

Transfer files of the home page you created to the ROSENET server.
Register the home page by transferring it. For this purpose file transfer
capabilities of the homepage editor are convenient. |

After the transfering is complete let's verify your home page by the browser. |

To Register the Homepage Using a File Transfer Program |

When Property of Session screen appears click the New button and enter as follows.

After you enter as follows press OK button.
The connection is started. |

When the connection is not started, get back to the previous screen and verify
the entries are correct. |

When you press the OK button, the connection
will be started and the following screen will be shown. In
the left screen a list of directories of your personal computer
is displayed and in the right screen a list of files and directories
on the server is shown. |

In the left screen where a list of directories of your personal computer is displayed,
look for the homepage you created.
Select index.html first and then press --> button
to transfer it to the right host's screen. When you see it is transferred,
the registration is almost finished. |

Let's open the browser and verify your homepage. |

Transfer all the files of your homepage to the server as well. |

In case that you want to delete files, you can use "Delete" button. |
